Pottery workshops
2 x 3 hour workshops where you will make a stoneware spoon rest and a selection of porcelain hanging or magnetic decorations.
£150 for 1 or 2 people for both workshops, £30 supplement for a third person.
Pottery experience workshop details.
Workshops are 3 hours each, 10am -1pm, or 2pm - 5pm. I will arrange the timings directly with you.
Session 1:
You will make and prepare for 1st firing

A stoneware, food & dishwasher safe spoon rest
&
A selection of decorations out of raw porcelain. This includes:

rolling the raw clay into a slab
-
imprinting
-
shaping and moulding.
Session 2:
Your pieces will have been fired to the ‘bisque’ stage ready for decorating. You will:

neaten your pieces
-
add fine detail with underglazes
-
complete with a final top glaze coat ready for 2nd firing
Sessions 1 and 2 need to be at least 2 weeks apart (to ensure they will fire safely). I will message once all are complete and ready to collect.
